Rick Ross jokes he was refused entry to Buckingham | Entertainment
Rick Ross has joked that all is forgiven after being refused entry to Buckingham Palace.
The 46-year-old rap legend recently visited the grand gates of Queen Elizabeth II’s residence in London, but his superstar status wasn’t enough to persuade one of the 96-year-old British monarch’s guards to let him go walk in. .
He joked: “Okay, so you all saw me go to Buckingham Palace. I pulled the homie aside and told him you know, who I was, the biggest bawse. And for one of the first times in a long time, it didn’t get me in. It didn’t get me through the doors.
He then joked that he had “forgiven” the “mate” who hadn’t let him in after being offered to catch his own lobster.
On his Instagram Story, he joked, “I couldn’t sit at the table.
“But what he did was refer me to a place and they said they would wait for me and I could choose which lobster I wanted to eat, so I forgave him.”
Meanwhile, despite his wealth, Rick had previously insisted that he “didn’t want to throw money away”, but wanted to enjoy his money in the right way.
He said: “I’m looking out the window right now in the Southwest Ranches, I can see my red-on-red Ferrari 458, and it’s inspiring.
“Work is inspiring, but it can wear you down. So while I want people to understand that anything is possible, you have to separate yourself and find a balance.”
And the ‘Purple Lamborghini’ star loves to get a bargain.
He said: “I don’t have a big jet. I try my best to fly Delta. I love the swaps and antique stores. I love finding nice things that are $8 or $20 .”
